Last November, After Dark Films presented a weekend of independent horror films labeled 8 Films to Die For. I thought most of the films were forgettable (see review ). But I still had fun watching them all weekend long. For me, nothing could be better than watching horror films in the theater all weekend. Well, except for maybe making one, but I digress.

On Tuesday, March 27, these films are being released on DVD. I suggest renting them, just for fun. Most of them have some redeeming factor, even if it’s more comical than scary. But at least none of them is a remake or a sequel. That alone is redeeming.

Check back here after that date for my review of Wicked Little Things. That was the one film that I thought was really good. I plan to buy it and I will report back to let you know if I still think it’s worthwhile and if the DVD has any cool special features.
