Art and Jeff are usually very bored at their real jobs. So when they’re not writing stuff for Detroit Buzz they pass the time by emailing back and forth on everything from global warming to YouTube's legal troubles. Lucky for you, they’re willing to share their mindless banter. Check back every once in awhile for more mindless conversations. ----- Original Message ----- From: jhatline@detroitbuzz.com To: arthatesyou@detroitbuzz.com Sent: Friday, February 01, 2007 9:50 AM Subject: The Super Bowl I don't know about you but I can't take much more insignificant Super Bowl coverage. This morning I've already learned that Marvin Harrison doesn't like to talk to the media and that Joseph Addai has a paralyzed friend. What's the most insignificant trivia you've absorbed this week? One side of the coin is that its a great achievement and Dungy and Smith should be congratulated. The other side is that race doesn't matter in relation to the determination and the crap these guys had to go through in order to get to where they're at. All I want to know is if Tank Johnson is gonna be strapped at the game? I'm not surprised that the State of Illinois allowed Tank Johnson go down there though. You think some judge wants to be the reason that Bears can't stop the run? Plus, I don't think Tank wanted to miss all the parties on South Beach. I wish i could be down there just to see what goes on in those private parties. I can just imagine Sean Salisbury and Pauly Shore going after the same chick, only to see her leave with Michael Irvin. Man, I'd be worried if I was Joseph Addai running through the middle of the Bears defense and taking a shot from Tank Johnson. It may look like that opening scene of The Last Boy Scout. If I was a girl, and had the choice between Sean Salisbury, the Weasel and Michael Irvin and his snazzy suits, I'd rather hold off for the one of the eight P.Diddy parties this weekend. I think they should cast him as the bad dude in the next Die Hard movie. He should play himself though. What's with this "If I was a girl" stuff? Because if you was a girl, you'd head over to the either the Playboy or the Maxim party and... well... nevermind. And my earlier statment about "if I was a girl" is something I am just gonna let die. |
