Alexisonfire w/ Norma Jean & Saosin @ St. Andrews Hall - After touring earlier this year, Canada’s Alexisonfire will bring the fans to the show. Still supporting their Crisis record, the band is part of an diverse bill along with Atlanta metalcore stars Norma Jean and the always touring Saosin.
Tickets are $16 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com.

Nightwish @ Harpo’s - The Finnish band is wildly popular in Europe, and maintains a cult audience here in the States. The band is touring with a new lead singer, Annette Olzon after original lead singer Tarja Turunen left the group last year.
Tickets are $20 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com.

Paramore @ Clutch Cargo’s - Damn, "Misery Business” is really blowing up on rock radio as we speak. The Tennessee band were one of the stars of this year’s Warped Tour and their Riot album is nearing gold status. Personally, they don’t sound much different from the crop of emo out on the scene right now, but that isn’t stopping tons of teenagers from buying it. Also featuring The Starting Line and Set Your Goals.
Tickets are Sold Out, but some may open up. Tickets may be available at www.ticketmaster.com.

Pat Monahan @ Royal Oak Theatre - While Train puts the breaks on temporarily, lead singer Pat Monahan soliders on with his solo debut, Last Of Seven. The album features work from Richie Sambora and Brandi Carilie. But if you are in the mood to hear songs like “Drops Of Jupiter” and “Meet Virginia,” I don’t think you will leave disappointed.
Tickets are $25 and are available at www.tickets.com.

Image Tori Amos @ Fox Theatre - The long time piano-based Amos lit up the charts in the 90s and has now settled into a comfortable phase of her career. Her new ambitious record, American Doll Posse, shows off Amos’ figments of her imagination on the new record, speaking from five different characters throughout the record.
Tickets range from $35 to $75 and are available at www.olympiaentertainment.com

Ween @ The Fillmore - Is "Push The Little Daisies" really 15 years old? Man, I am starting to feel real old. The long time bizarre alt-rock band is out promoting their latest record La Cucaracha. Offbeat, but sometimes very entertaining.
Tickets range from $25 to $35 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com.

Also playing on Saturday - Type O Negative @ Harpo's - See Spotlight

Kelly Clarkson @ The Fillmore - Well, her My December album is as cold as the month it's named after. After her Breakaway album sold over 6 million records, My December has yet to yield a major single and looks to sell barely a fraction of what the last record did. The album may be more pleasing to Clarkson, but the fans are already thinking it's December.
Tickets are $39.50 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com.

Gov’t Mule @ Royal Oak Theatre - Former Allman Brothers band member Warren Haynes’ southern rock and jam band outfit just keeps touring. The popular jam band is still touring behind their 2006 record High and Mighty. The band is a little heavier and harder than your usual jam band, and has become a critical favorite.
Tickets are $25.50 and are available at www.tickets.com.
