This Leeds UK, Post-rock band has finally released a full length CD, to
go along with a string of critically acclaimed singles and the EP,
Progress Reform. Elegies To Lessons Learnt, follows the
path they paved with the previous single A Rook House For Bobby,

not sounding like them, fans of bands like Interpol, Editors and

Stateless
is a Leeds, UK band of a different breed. The Electro-Ambient sounds of
their debut CD, coupled with the Brit-Pop vocals of Chris James has the
band on the verge of stardom. Producer Jim Abbis passed some tracks on
to DJ Shadow who was instantly won over and asked James to
provide vocals for two tracks on his latest CD, The Outsider.

LA's The Autumns have entered a new era in their sound. With the
release of their latest album, Fake Noise From A Box Of Toys, the band
has incorprated a noisy, almost glam rock sound evident on their new single,
Boys. Longtime fans need not fret though, as there is still shades of
their previous lush gaze on tracks like Only Young, Uncle Slim and the
album-closer, Oh My Heart. So while they may be shifting their sound,
there is still some classic Autumns within.
