Avenged Sevenfold and others delivered to a packed out at DTE back on Sept. 9th. Well, I do have to give it to the guys in Avenged Sevenfold: in February, the band played to 12,000+ at the Palace even with a snowstorm laying down 6 inches of snow right before the show and [...] After skipping Detroit last year, Uproar makes it's debut in this area on Sept. 9th. Last year, the inaugural Rockstar Uproar Tour was seen as a major success with decent crowds and tickets prices that stayed reasonable for rock fans. Even though the tour was a success, us Detroiters were passed up [...] The 5th annual Rock on the Range festival hits Columbus this weekend. Some of rock’s biggest names converge of Columbus once again this year as Rock on the Range celebrates it’s fifth year, with a weekend full of hard hitting rock and metal. Once again, over 40 bands will be headed to [...] Avenged Sevenfold brought the big arena rock show- something we don't see a lot of these days. Battling ridiculous conditions on the roadways and a snow that was tapering off, trying to make it to the Avenged Sevenfold show was a bit treacherous, but approximately 12,000 or so people fought through the terrible roads and [...] Not quite "Waking The Fallen", but I'll take this over Nickelback any day of the week. Even though it’s happened in rock history before, it has been a while since a band in their prime of their commercial success has lost a member.
